Audrey Lachance

I am Audrey Lachance, an abstract artist based in Montreal.

Through my work, I seek to transform invisible sensations into visual experiences. A smell, an atmosphere, warmth on the skin, a difficult-to-name emotion. My works often arise from these fleeting impressions that we feel without always being able to explain them.

Each piece acts as a sensory map, where textures, materials, and gestures become a language.

My process is intuitive and slow. I primarily work on raw canvas, layering paint, pastel, embroidery, and various materials to create rich and vibrant surfaces.

I am not trying to represent a specific place or object, but rather a feeling. Something that is felt before it is understood.

My works are designed to inhabit a space with softness, depth, and emotion. Like a silent presence that transforms the atmosphere of a room.

In addition to original works, I also offer quality reproductions to make my universe accessible to different spaces and realities.

My work is now collected across Canada and elsewhere in the world.
